Remus II introduces Blazar’s Oval Iris — the same design language behind Mantis, now built into the Remus line. The result is rounder, richer oval bokeh and a more refined flare signature, without losing the retro soul that defined the original Remus.
Remus II opens to a fast, consistent T2.4 across its full focus range — bright enough for low-light cinematography, precise enough for close, controlled work.
Beyond the new iris shape, Remus II’s optical formula has been upgraded end to end — delivering a noticeable sharpness improvement over the original Remus 50, without sacrificing the lens’s signature vintage character.
